Fort Erie the SIXTH to pass anti-TPP motion
At Fort Erie’s Town Council meeting tonight, two NRLC Vice Presidents, Bruce Allen and Chris Grawey, made a presentation with regard to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The NRLC’s motion was passed by Council. It states that Council will send a letter to the Minister of International Trade and local MPs stating that the Trans-Pacific Partnership in its present form cannot be supported. Fort Erie is now the 6th municipality in Niagara to do so. The motion was moved by Councillor Marina Butler and seconded by Councillor George McDermott. The only Councillor opposed was Kimberly Zanko.
